Why We Give

At New City Church we believe God calls us to give sacrificially and cheerfully as part of our worship.  As believers, our goal is to be good stewards of that which God has entrusted to us.  We call our members to give sacrificially and cheerfully to God – a vertical transaction rather than horizontal.  But we do not talk percentage. Instead, we talk of gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel, knowing how gladly Jesus Christ sacrificed for our sake and knowing that all we have belongs to him.

This Spring, New City will be giving to TLC The Life Centre.

Ways to Give

Pre-Authorized Debit

We want to encourage you to set up regular monthly giving. There are no fees involved in this form of giving & it allows us to have a better forecast of our yearly budget. You may change your instruction at any time should your circumstances change.  Please download the PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) form and follow the instructions on the bottom of the form.

Cash & Cheques

During our regular services, we have a box at the back of the church where you can place your envelopes. Envelopes are available at the welcome desk in the lobby. Please write your name and address on the envelope so that we may issue you a tax receipt. You may also mail your cheques (no cash please) to the church for deposit.

E-Transfer

The church encourages the use of E-transfers as there is no cost to us, unlike the fees associated with giving by credit card. 
To give by e-transfer, please send your donation to:  bookkeeper@newcitynewmarket.ca
No password is required. Click on the button below for instructions on how to give by e-transfer.

Credit Card

To give online via credit card, please click the button. We use Stripe to process these payments through the online platform called Planning Center Giving. This is a comprehensive  donor management system that helps us manage your giving in a safe and secure way. For more details about, visit: https://stripe.com/ca/privacy

  • The processing fee is 2.2% plus 30 cents per donation for Canadian Visa or Mastercard transactions.

  • AMEX donations are 3.5% per transaction.
